Independent App Developer Β· Australia

I’m retired and finally have the time to build the things I’ve always wanted to create. I started making Android apps because I wanted tools that simply worked β€” no subscriptions, no bloat, no hidden catches. Just straightforward apps that respect your time and your device.

Based in Australia, I build everything myself β€” from the first sketch to the final release. Before focusing on software, I worked at sea as a marine engineer and, years earlier, flew small aircraft. I’ve always been drawn to building β€” whether that meant constructing boats, designing in CAD, or working with wood and steel in the shed. Navigation has always been a particular fascination of mine.

I’ve always believed that good design is quiet and useful β€” and that it should respect your privacy as much as your time. Whether it’s an app or something I’m building by hand, the goal is the same: keep it simple, make it reliable, and make it worth using.

What I believe in

The principles behind every app

πŸ”’

Privacy by default

No tracking. No data sold. No account required. Your data stays on your device.

βœ‚οΈ

No bloat

Every feature earns its place. I’d rather do five things well than fifteen poorly.

πŸ“Ά

Works offline

Apps should work when you need them β€” including in a supermarket with no signal.

Real support

When you email me, you get me β€” one developer who cares whether the app works for you.
