Scan a receipt onto a shop

   On the History tab, tap the notepad icon on the card for that shop.

   Photograph the receipt (or pick a photo from your gallery). The app reads it on-device — you'll see "Reading receipt…" for a moment.

   The Receipt prices review sheet opens, matching receipt lines to the items you bought. Check it over, then tap Save.

The notepad icon turns blue on cards that have prices saved, and the card shows the trip total.

Shopped without the app? Log it from the receipt

Popped into a shop without making a list? Tap "Log a shop from a receipt" in the History tab's top bar. The app creates a fresh trip, opens the camera, and reads the receipt — your impulse shop becomes a proper History card with items and prices.

It's the easiest way to keep your spending record complete without changing how you shop.

Your receipt photos

• View or replace — the photo lives with its card: tap the pencil icon and use the Receipt Photo row to view, retake, or delete it.
• Backed up — receipt photos are included in your backups, so a restored phone gets them back.
• Spring cleaning — Settings → Backup shows how much space photos use, with a "Delete photos older than…" button (1, 3, 6, 12 months — or all). Cards keep their items and prices either way.
