Help Centre β€Ί Sharing Lists

There are two ways to share your list. Live sharing keeps two phones in sync in real time β€” perfect for shopping together. Text sharing sends a plain-text copy of your list to anyone, anywhere β€” no app required on their end.

🀝 Live Shared List

Both phones see the same list in real time. When one person checks something off, the other sees it instantly. Requires internet and the app on both phones.

πŸ“€ Text Copy

Sends a plain-text version of your list via WhatsApp, email, or any app. The recipient doesn't need the app β€” but the list is just a snapshot, not live.

Live shared list β€” Creating one

You can create a shared list and invite one other person to join it.

  1. 1
Tap βš™οΈ Settings (top-right on the main screen).
  2. 2
    Scroll to Shared Lists.
  3. 3
Tap Create a shared list. Add a List name or accept the default β€” and tap "Create".
  4. 4
A QR code appears. Show it to the other person (or screenshot it and send it to them).
  5. 5
Once they join, both phones are in sync. Any changes either of you make appear on both screens.
  6. 6
Note β€” tap the QR symbol on the right of the current List to display the QR code again.

πŸ“Ά
Internet required for live sharing

The live shared list uses Firebase to sync between phones. Both people need an internet connection for changes to appear in real time.

Using the shared list

Once connected, the shared list works exactly like your normal list. Add items from the Catalog, check them off β€” everything syncs to the other phone within seconds.

You'll see a sync indicator at the top of the screen while the shared list is active, so you always know you're connected.

  2. 2

Android's share sheet opens. Choose WhatsApp, Messages, Email, or any app.

  2. 2
Open the app and tap the πŸ“‹ clipboard icon in the top-right of the main screen.
