Make the app your own — themes, celebrations, and more.
Tap the ⚙️ gear icon in the top-right corner of the main screen to open Settings. Everything here is optional — the app works great with its defaults, but this is where you can fine-tune it to suit you.
Choose how the app looks. Three options:
White background, dark text. Classic and easy to read in bright conditions.
Dark background, light text. Easier on the eyes at night and in low light.
Follows your phone's system theme. Switches automatically between light and dark.
When haptic feedback is on, your phone gives a small vibration when you check an item off your list. It's a satisfying little confirmation that you've ticked something off.
Toggle it on or off in Settings. If your phone doesn't support haptics, this option has no effect.
This section is where you create or join a live shared list. See the Sharing Lists guide for full step-by-step instructions.
If you're already connected to a shared list, this section becomes Synced List and shows options to view the QR code again or leave the shared list.
View or delete any custom items you've created. Built-in items don't appear here — only the ones you added yourself.
This is located near the bottom of the settings page.
Tap Privacy Policy to open the full privacy policy in your browser. The app collects no personal data. Shopping data stays on your device. See the full policy for details.
This permanently deletes all your data — history, custom items, settings, and receipt photos — from the app. It's the nuclear option.
A strong warning is shown before anything is deleted. This cannot be undone.
If you plan to delete your data and reinstall, create a backup first. Once deleted, there's no way to recover your history.
